FIA slates GPMA engine fund proposal

AS reported on crash.net

The FIA, Formula One’s governing body, has hit out at the GPMA, following the statement they released on Sunday, which included proposals to create a 40 million Euro fund to help the independent teams secure affordable engines.

The FIA said that sum was ‘wholly inadequate’, before going on to add that as no unanimous agreement was reached by all twelve teams which will compete in the sport in 2008 over the French GP weekend, then the freeze on engine development would proceed as laid out in the rules and regulations already published by them.

Few weeks of calm and the FIA-GPMA rift is back ! When the heck is it going to end once and for all !!
