“They [McLaren Mercedes] have not won the title in recent years so I want to help McLaren to find the way back to victory,” the newspaper ‘As Diario’ quoted Alonso as saying. He said he would give Woking based McLaren ‘advice’ about ‘the techniques we used at Renault’.
And to think that Renault won’t have thought about it ?? And not just Renault, with so many drivers changing teams, this would undoubtedly be something every team would have thought about and sorted out.

briatore is one who wud see tht his drivers know how his team work..so its quite possible tht alonso comes to ron dennis with sum valuable advice..!!!
Whatever Alonso does quite frankly Mclaren are not what they used to be so it would take much more than that to have a turnaround.McLaren needs more of Alonso than he needs them.
Next we will hear some Spanish newspaper saying that Alonso is designing the 2007 Mclaren in the absence of Newey. Maybe Alonso can take some tips to Mclaren but I dont think he knows anything about Aerodynamics. So, unless Mclaren comes up with a good car, I dont think it is going to make any difference to their fortunes.

Alonso doesnt have the experience of Mic..
and coming to his suggestions i believe, he can max tell them but may not implement it..
