As reported on itv-f1.com

“Formula 1 has always taken a back seat, especially now that we’re close [to the new MotoGP season],” Rossi was quoted as saying by autosport.com.

Yamaha team director Davide Brivio denied giving Rossi a deadline to make up his mind whether he wants to stay in MotoGP or move to F1 but admitted to being “scared” by the prospect of Rossi’s departure.

In view of the ease with which he is able to switch from one discipline to the other, Rossi’s reaffirmation of his commitment to MotoGP at today’s launch would not preclude him from undertaking further Ferrari F1 tests in the course of this year.
