Preview the 2006 tracks with Google Earth

Posted: March 1, 2006 by E@zyVG in External, General, RaceTracks

Was going through F1Fanatic Blog entry and found an interesting article on an excellent hack for Google Earth that allows you to sweep across the globe and zoom in on the 18 tracks of the 2006 Formula One season at the touch of a button.

Some of the tracks are captured in far greater quality than others, and one or two are missing due to the age of the satellite photos, but this is definitely worth a quick download.

I’m very happy that you read my blog but I think the charitable thing to do would have been to provide a link to my post rather than just copy it and not credit me. That is, after all, part of the point of blogging.

Keith, my apologies for this. I’ll try to make sure this dosen’t happen in future.

If you like google maps in my web site you can find 28 tracks, all of them high resolution.
I don’t post the low resolution ones.
