As reported on The Telegraph

Time is running out for the Formula One rebel manufacturers who have been threatening a breakaway series. In a letter sent yesterday to Renault, BMW, Toyota, Honda and Mercedes, Max Mosley, president of F1’s ruling body, the FIA, warned the car makers that they face being frozen out if they do not commit to the sport during a seven-day window at the end of this month.

  1. Marc says:

Considering those that would be “forzen out,” Renault, BMW, Toyota, Honda and Mercedes, just who would be doing the “freezing” if they left or were forced out?

Without them there isn’t much left for F1 to choose from. This is just another idle threat from Mad Max.

Marc, what you said is true “Without them there isn’t much left for F1 to choose from”.

But given the current state of mind of Max-Max, I won’t be surprised if he did take a step or two towards his so called “freezing”, and that really is going to be a Black-Day for all F1 fans.
