As the fight between F1’s top teams to secure Kimi Raikkonen’s services for 2007 intensifies, the Finn has ruled himself out of contention for this year’s world title – with 12 races still remaining.

“The title battle will be fought between Ferrari and Renault,” Raikkonen was quoted as saying by The Sun.

“They always finish races and fight for victories and podiums.

“Me? I’ll just look for winning some races.”

Oh! I really pity him and even McLaren-Mercedes. After an amazing comback in the later-half of the season last year, I never thought of such an pathetic performance from them this year.

But this also means that it is very unlikely that the Finn will continue with McLaren. And Flavio has already rubbished the idea of Kimi moving to Renault. So in all likelihood, next season we will see him wearing the scarlet dress !!
