Ferrari is expected to make an even stronger challenge for pole position in Monte Carlo after Bridgestone revealed that it will take a super-soft tyre option to the legendary street track.

With overtaking almost impossible at Monaco, technical manager Hisao Suganuma, suggested that teams will abandon heavy fuel strategies and focus on trying to get their drivers to the front of the pack.

Suganuma's Michelin counterpart Nick Shorrock has already suggested that the French company might try a different approach to Monte Carlo.
