Giancarlo FisichellaAs reported on F1Racing.net

“Flavio (Briatore) didn’t make a secret of it that he’s happy about the team’s result. He often speaks positive about me. Also within the team they are happy with my job. I have always made the best of it this season.” said Giancarlo Fisichella.

But who will be his team mate if Fisichella will stay at Renault for another season? “For sure it will be a driver from Finland.” The driver could be either Kimi Räikkönen, who has a contract that expires at the end of the season at McLaren (Alonso’s new team). But it could also be Renault’s current test driver Heikki Kovalainen.

I really don’t think Kimi would be moving to Renault, since earlier Flavio has “rubbished” the idea [unless he has something else up his sleeves]. In all likelihood, it’s going to be Heikki Kovalainen.
