The identity of Kimi Räikkönen’s next F1 employer will be unveiled in August, according to media reports. On Tuesday, ‘AS’ newspaper in Spain cited the information of the Finn’s manager, Steve Robertson, who supposedly told journalists at Magny Cours that they could expect to hear an announcement about 2007 next month.

A wait of few more days will do no harm for us after waiting and speculation for such a long time. Let’s hope to end the speculation [and the suspence] once and for all.

A Kimi announcement next month seems a little off. Michael has said he won’t decide about next season until Monza on 10 September. I would think Kimi would like to keep his options open with respect to Ferrari. In light of recent results, however, I would be astonished if Michael retired this season.

Even I don’t see a possibilty of Michael retiring after this season, given the latest development Ferrari has shown [unless things start going drastically wrong]. As for Kimi, maybe it depends on the terms & conditions of his contract with Ferrari [if he had any at all].

  3. Kimi’s going to Ferarri and him and MS are going to smoke the whole field every christforsaken week. It’s gonna be awesome 🙂

Touche Hakkinen !! That’s exactly what even I want to see 🙂
